Words from Scott Pacich

Here's what Scott Pacich has to say about his project:

“The frame is a 1957 Chevy frame picked from a 1934 Ford early Modified kit. The roll cage and all bracing is scratch built. The engine is from a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. The body is entirely home built, using only a roof panel and front posts from a 1970 Barracuda. The headers are completely scratch built. The rear end is from the 1934 Ford early Modified kit, modified to the offset configuration. The front axle is from a custom car. The tires are from the early Modified kit, with the wheels modified to look more like the steel rims of the 70’s.

“The model is a combination of a few of the Hemi-Cuda’s, as they changed quite frequently. I picked what I liked best about them and combined a little. It’s closest to the version that ran at the Pocono Race of Champions in 1973.”

The bare frame. It was modified after this picture to correct a small mistake. One radius rod was removed from the rear suspension on each side to conform with what the car was actually like.
