Tommy Cloce

It could be said that Tommy Cloce was born to drive a racecar. Growing up around the team his father formed in 1964, Tommy learned about racing at an early age. He started out helping around the garage, and as he matured he became an important part of the raceday crew. But he knew he wanted more than that. Eventually he decided to try his hand at driving and in 1995 started out in Late Models at Capital City Speedway in the Ottawa Valley. Tommy quickly proved his ability, winning three features as a rookie. He began to branch out to different tracks the following season and continued his winning ways.

When the family team was looking for a driver in 1997, young Cloce was the choice to drive the famed Hemi-Cuda #69. He was following in some big footsteps, some of the best in Modified racing had preceded him, but Tommy Cloce never shies away from a challenge. He practiced his craft at area speedways and proved a quick study.

In 2002 Tommy Cloce will run the full Race of Champions Modified Tour schedule in hopes of capturing the points championship. He will also run a limited schedule of events on the NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series as well as selected weekly races at area tracks. Please check our schedule page for complete details.
